Hot! My Reenactor Interview for the Living History Podcast

Around this time last year I was interviewed by the Living History Podcast.  The Living History Podcast is, to my knowledge, the primary podcast for the reenacting/living history community, so it was quite an honor for me to be chosen as a subject.

We discussed how I got into the hobby, what impressions I do, the relationship between my photography and reenacting, what it’s like to be a part of a couple who reenacts together, the differences between 20th century reenacting and other periods, what it is like to be a woman in a predominantly male hobby, and how being a traveler has taught me to pack lighter as a reenactor. They got so much material from me that the interview has been split into two episodes that were aired over the course of two weeks.

If you have an interest in reenacting, history, or want a glimpse into this unusual part of my life (including how I met Marc!), I highly suggest giving it a listen.  You can listen to it over here: Interview with a 20th Century Reenactor: Part 1 and Part 2
